Membership of the GSHS is free of charge. This also applies to all services, unless expressly stated otherwise in the announcement. Please refer to the General Terms and Conditions.
By applying for GSHS membership, you commit yourself to the principles of good research practice applicable at JGU.
The approval of funding (research proposal scholarships, short stays abroad, etc.) may be accompanied by further obligations (e.g. attendance at certain events, reporting obligations, etc.). You will receive information on this in the approval notification.
Otherwise, membership is not associated with any obligations.
You can terminate your membership at any time. The possibility of obtaining funding ends when membership ends. If you have any questions, please contact the office.
Your supervisors, your faculty/rectorate or other offices at the university will only be informed on whether you are a member or not, and if so, which services you use, with your consent. Exceptions to this include the forwarding of event registrations to those persons and institutions involved in the organisation of events or, in the case of funding applications and reports in connection with funded projects, to those persons and institutions involved in the selection, approval and management of the funding. The latter also applies if you apply for funding from several university-internal funding bodies for one and the same project. You can find more information in our data protection statement.
